Mistakes in Bok team - Sport24 user

I don't even need 200 words; I need one. MISTAKE.

I understand Meyer's decision because we all know that Japan will not be the most difficult game but he's not thinking long term. A lot of our "stars" haven't played since the shocker loss to Argentina way back at the beginning of August. That means it going to be over 6 weeks until guys like Willie and Damian play. This is the perfect time to get our strongest team gelling and play out the rust.

I'm excited to see Jesse playing at 13, he is definitely the most inform centre at the moment and his lines are just incredible. But De Allende not even in the squad? If Jean gets injured, we have no one that can move to 12. Mayer will probably shift Lambie to 12 and put Handre on. Big mistake there too.I'd rather have kriel at 15 Jean at 13 and De Allende at 12 if Meyer insists in playing Jean, at least that way there's cover on the field for possible injuries.

No big surprises in the forwards, they will probably control most of the game in the usual way, more than happy with the choices there. Hope that du Toit gets a run out, think he has a very bright springbok future and after his injury early on in super rugby he's probably keen to show that.
