Joubert still rated...Down Under!

London - It's been a rough few days for referee Craig Joubert, but he did find some support - in Australia.

Every man and his dog has had a go at the South African whistleblower after his controversial decision to award the Wallabies a match-winning last-minute penalty against Scotland in their Rugby World Cup quarter-final at Twickenham last Sunday.

Yet, while Joubert has been slated on social media, he did find some support from Down Under.

Writing in Australia's Daily Telegraph, Jamie Pandaram somewhat tongue-in-cheek rated Joubert 9/10 for his performance last weekend.

"Despite ruling for Scotland at times, a fine match for the Wallabies.

"Produced the goods when it mattered.

"Surprising turn of speed when making a break for the tunnel."
