Joubert: Boks should win their pool

Cape Town - Former star fullback Andre Joubert says the Springboks should emerge victorious from their pool at the upcoming Rugby World Cup in England and Wales.

The Boks are in Pool B alongside Japan, Scotland, Samoa and the USA.

Joubert, who played 34 Tests between 1989 and 1997, says the Boks cannot be written off at the World Cup and sees the team comfortably reaching the quarter-finals.

Joubert tweeted the following via his official Twitter account on Monday:

Should the Boks progress and make the quarter-finals, they are likely to play either England, Australia or Wales in the quarter-finals.

If they safely negotiate the quarter-finals, a semi-final date with the All Blacks is on the cards.
