France too strong for plucky Canada

Cape Town - France have beaten a plucky Canadian side by 41-18 in a Rugby World Cup Pool D match at the Stadium MK.

As it happened - France v Canada

Canada certainly proved a handful for their more fancied rivals and after 30 minutes of play only trailed by 5 points. France however, scored just before half time for a 24-12 lead.

In the second half, France began to control the match, scoring a further two tries to secure a bonus point.
