London - The All Blacks will defend their Rugby World Cup title against Australia next weekend, say bookmakers.

According to leading SA bookies Sportingbet, skipper Richie McCaw will lift aloft the Webb Ellis Cup come the final whistle at Twickenham next Saturday.

Kick-off is at 18:00 SA time.

Despite both sides being two-time champions, this is the first occasion in which they will meet in the final.

The All Blacks, winners over France in 2011, have been installed as 6-point favourites.

The All Blacks can be backed at 2/5 for the outright victory, while Australia are on offer at 9/4.

In their semi-final against the Springboks, the All Blacks emerged narrow 20-18 victors, while Australia accounted for Argentina 29-15.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
