World record for Richie McCaw

Cape Town - All Black captain Richie McCaw now stands alone as the player with the most Test wins in the history of the game.

McCaw, who played in his 106th Test when New Zeland thrashed Ireland 60-0 in Hamilton on Saturday, overtook Wallabies record holder George Gregan after they were level on 93 wins each.

According to the All Blacks.com website, McCaw now stands on 94 Test wins from 106 internationals.

Gregan notched his over a 139-Test reign, so McCaw has hit the record 33 games ahead of the former Australian scrumhalf.
