Wilkinson set for operation

Toulon - England rugby great Jonny Wilkinson is due to undergo a minor operation to relieve inflammation round his groin area next Saturday his Top 14 side Toulon announced on Monday.

The 33-year-old fly-half should be able to play in Friday's Top 14 top v bottom clash with Mont-de-Marsan but will then have a week's rest after the operation.
