Wales beat Jake's Brumbies

Canberra - Six Nations champions Wales have held on for a 10-point victory over the Brumbies at Canberra Stadium on Tuesday.

In the only midweek match of the Welsh tour, the visitors recorded a 25-15 triumph against a youthful Brumbies outfit. Wales led 19-6 at half-time.

Wales ran in three first half tries and the gap proved too big for the Brumbies to overcome.

Brumbies flyhalf Zack Holmes booted five penalties to give the Brumbies a chance, but they couldn't cross the Welsh tryline.

The Brumbies will have a nervous wait after fullback Robbie Coleman left the field at half-time with an AC joint injury in his right shoulder.
