Cape Town - Luke Watson was on Tuesday night honoured for his excellent season at Western Province when he was named as the rugby union’s best forward and players’ player of the year at their annual prize giving.
Watson has already joined up with English club side Bath. On Monday night he was named as South Africa's Currie Cup player of the year.
Province's new Springbok centre, Juan de Jongh, was named as the most promising senior player, while fullback Joe Pietersen was named best back of the season.
