Watson to make playing return

Cape Town - Kings captain Luke Watson is set to return to action following a throat injury sustained in their Super Rugby opener against the Force on February 23.

According to the SA Rugby Magazine's website, loose forward Watson and lock Darron Nel, who injured his calf in the warm-up prior to their game against the Chiefs on March 15, will play for Eastern Province's Vodacom Cup side against the SWD Eagles in Uitenhage on Friday night.

The Kings are hoping the duo come through the SWD game unscathed so they can be considered for their Super Rugby match against the Bulls in Port Elizabeth on April 20. They Kings are currently in Australia preparing for their last tour match against the Rebels on Saturday (11:40 SA time kick-off).
