Cape Town - No 8 Sikhumbuzo Notshe dotted down four times as WP beat the Boland Cavaliers 25-10 (half-time 15-7) in their Vodacom Cup clash at the Caledon Sports Ground on Saturday afternoon .

Notshe had scored a double within the opening ten minutes of the match with flyhalf Jean-Luc du Plessis converting the second try. The visitors led 12-0 before captain and lock Gavin Annandale went over for a try and fullback Eric Zana added the extras.

The game slowed down considerably after the exciting first quarter and it was only when Cavaliers flanker Freginald Africa was shown a yellow card that Du Plessis kicked a penalty. The score of 15-7 remained unchanged until the halftime interval.
