FNB UKZN claims memorable win over Wits

Cape Town - The UKZN came from 21-2 down against Wits to claim a remarkable 26-21 victory in a game of two halves in Soweto on Monday afternoon.

Wits dominated the first half and lead 21-2 at the break, before UKZN made the most of the wind at their backs in second half, to seal a great day for the men from the coast.

UKZN winger Thobekani Bhuthelezi used his speed to great success as he dotted down twice.

UKZN had numerous injuries, including star player, Curwin Bosch, but that didn’t stop the determination from them as they continued their great run in the tournament.

It ended 26-21 to UKZN following an incredible second half comeback.
