Cape Town - After four rounds of action at neutral venues, Varsity Cup will be concluded at the various qualifying universities' campuses.
The comes after matches were played at neutral stadiums for the last four rounds.
"We are extremely happy to be able to take the semi-finals and finals of Varsity Cup back to the universities," says Varsity Cup CEO, Duitser Bosman.
"Out of respect for the situation on campuses during the beginning of the year we decided to move matches to neutral venues. The Varsity Cup board today gave the green light to move matches back to campuses.
"The supporters and the 'gees' they bring is at the heart of Varsity Cup and we look forward to ending this year's tournament with thousands of fans supporting their teams , on their home grounds. The competition belongs on campus and we're happy to see it return home," concluded Bosman.
The semi-finals for Varsity Cup are scheduled for Monday, April 4.
Log leaders Maties already confirmed to host one semi-final in Stellenbosch next week Monday. The match will kick off at 19:00 and will be broadcast live on SuperSport 1.
The second semi-final match will be determined after today's final round of action.
