Tuks end UJ's streak

Johannesburg - The University of Pretoria ended the four-match unbeaten run of neighbours the University of Johannesburg with a well constructed 38-23 victory in Monday night’s FNB Varsity Cup action in Johannesburg.

The visitors ran in four tries of which three were scored in the second half when they took charge of the match.

UJ managed to score three tries, mostly against the run of play, and could have been in business had their man wearing pink pants flyhalf Theuns Kotze converted all the kicks he had at goal.

As reward for his standout performance around the park Tuks number 8 Arno Botha scored two of his team’s tries while skipper Wesley Dunlop converted seven out of his eight shots at goal.
