Springboks call up Brüssow

Cape Town - Loose-forward Heinrich Brüssow was on Sunday confirmed as an addition to the Springbok squad for the home leg of the Castle Tri-Nations series.  

Brüssow made a successful comeback from a hamstring injury in the Absa Currie Cup clash between the Free State Cheetahs and Western Province on Saturday and assembled with the other 24 players in Durban on Sunday.

The team to face Australia will be named on Tuesday.
 
Schalk Burger (hand), Juan Smith (Achilles) and Willem Alberts (shoulder) will join the squad in Durban to continue their rehabilitation from injury.
