SARU set to grill Div

Cape Town - Springbok coach Peter de Villiers is to be grilled by SARU's review panel on the Boks' trio of humiliating defeats against New Zealand and Australia, according to a report in the Cape Argus.

In three matches on tour the Boks conceded 10 tries and 93 points, and failed to even pick up a bonus point, all but ending any chance of them retaining the Tri-Nations title they won so convincingly in 2009.

In response to criticism of De Villiers, SA Rugby head Oregan Hoskins said on Monday morning: "We normally review performances after a leg like this, and we will begin this week."

The panel would be headed by SA Rugby's new vice-president, James Stofberg, and would include selector Ian McIntosh.

Asked about the waves of concern about De Villiers's alleged lack of ideas, Hoskins said: "I'd rather not comment on that now. But we're concerned about the losses.
