Dublin - New Zealand have extended their lead at the top of the IRB World Rankings following their 49-28 victory over Australia in Melbourne.
The All Blacks now sit nearly seven rating points ahead of South Africa in second, the biggest advantage any team has had at the top since the rankings began in 2003.
Australia have slipped 0.4 rating points further back from South Africa, but still keep third place, well ahead of France.
New Zealand's six tries against Australia means that they have overtaken France as the top try scorers in all Tests with 1 565 tries. France have scored 1 561.
Dan Carter scored 19 points to overtake Wales' Neil Jenkins and become the second-highest points scorer ever with 1 094. England's Jonny Wilkinson leads the way with 1 178 (1 111 for England and 67 for the British & Irish Lions)
Carter also became New Zealand's top penalty goals scorer in Test history, kicking two to make it 190 and overtake Andrew Mehrtens.
It is now eight matches since Australia last defeated New Zealand.
