Cape Town - Wallabies winger Drew Mitchell faced a SANZAR judicial hearing on Sunday in Melbourne where no further action was taken over his sending off in Saturday’s Tri Nations Test against the All Blacks at Etihad Stadium.
Mitchell was ordered from the field in the 43rd minute by referee Craig Joubert after being issued with a second yellow card.
The Australian was sin binned in the 28th minute of the first half under Law 10.4 (e), a late and dangerous tackle.
He was shown a red card in the third minute of the second half after a second yellow card offence under Law 10.2 (a), intentionally offending.
SANZAR Judicial Officer Peter Ingwersen heard the matter today.
He found the sending off was sufficient penalty and decided no further sanction was required.
