Cape Town - Former Springbok and Bulls hooker Chiliboy Ralepelle has been released from his contract by Toulouse and has returned to South Africa.

According to reports in Midi Olympique, the 28-year-old has seen his contract with the Top 14 club terminated by mutual consent after testing positive for a banned substance last year.

He is now expected to face a doping hearing in mid-March, where he faces a two-year suspension if found guilty.
