Cape Town - Tank Lanning's guest on the Front Row Grunt show on 2oceansvibe.com on Wednesday evening was former Blue Bulls and Scotland tighthead prop, Pukke coach, and now forward coach of WP and the Stormers, Matthew Proudfoot.
Born in Klerksdorp, Proudfoot played four times for Scotland, his link to the land of haggis being his paternal grandfather.

How Matt actually ended up playing in Scotland and then for the national side, the injuries he picked up as a player, coaching in Potch, his views on both the Varsity Cup and Community Cup, and how he believes that the professional and amateur arms of rugby should never meet.
