Van Heerden to ref Lions v Kings derby

Cape Town - South Africa’s Jaco van Heerden will referee Friday night’s South African Super Rugby derby between the Lions and Southern Kings in Johannesburg (19:00 kick-off).

Super Rugby referee appointments: Round 16

Van Heerden will be assisted by Jaco Peyper and Ben Crouse, with Johann Greeff the television match official (TMO).

South Africa’s Stuart Berry will referee Saturday’s SA derby between the Sharks and Cheetahs in Durban (19:15 kick-off).

Berry will be assisted by Rasta Rasivhenge and Archie Sehlako, with Marius Jonker the TMO.

South Africa’s Quinton Immelman will referee the Bulls’ match against the Sunwolves in Pretoria (17:05)

Immelman will be assisted by Jaco van Heerden and AJ Jacobs, with Willie Vos the TMO.

Earlier in the day, New Zealand’s Mike Fraser will be in charge of the Western Force’s match against the Stormers (13:55 SA time).

Fraser will be assisted by Graham Cooper and Michael Hogan, with Peter Marshall the TMO.
