Van der Westhuizen to ref Sharks v ‘Canes

Cape Town - South Africa’s Marius van der Westhuizen will referee the Sharks’ Super Rugby clash against the Hurricanes in Durban this Saturday (15:00 kick-off).

Super Rugby referees: Round 11

Van der Westhuizen will be assisted by Quinton Immelman and Rodney Bonaparte, with Marius Jonker the television match official (TMO).

Argentina’s Federico Anselmi will referee the Southern Kings’ match against the Blues in Port Elizabeth (17:10).

Anselmi will be assisted by Rasta Rasivhenge and Archie Sehlako, with Christie du Preez the TMO.

Earlier in the day, Australia’s Nic Berry will referee the Cheetahs' clash against the Waratahs in Sydney (11:45 SA time).

Berry will be assisted by Andrew Lees and Graham Cooper, with George Ayoub on TMO duty.

New Zealand’s Ben O'Keeffe will referee the Bulls’ clash against the Brumbies in Canberra on Friday (11:45 SA time).

O’Keeffe will be assisted by Will Houston and Ed Martin, with Peter Marshall in the TMO booth.

South Africa’s two other teams in the competition - the Stormers and Lions - have a bye this weekend.
