Triple quarter-final boost for Sharks

Cape Town - Sharks director of rugby Gary Gold has named his team for Saturday’s Super Rugby quarter-final against the Hurricanes in Wellington, New Zealand (kick-off 09:35 SA time).

The Sharks have been strengthened by the return of three previously injured players.

Willie le Roux, Paul Jordaan and Jean-Luc du Preez have all been included in the run-on XV, having recovered from their respective ailments which have kept them out of action over the past few weeks.

Although history counts for little on the day, the Sharks can take confidence out of the fact that they have won six of their last nine games against the Hurricanes.

Overall, the teams have met on 20 occasions, with the Sharks leading the head-to head count with 11 wins, including a 32-15 victory in Durban earlier this season.
