Sunwolves bolster midfield, sign Highlanders star

Cape Town - The Sunwolves have bolstered their midfield stocks with the acquisition of centre Jason Emery from the Highlanders for the 2018 Super Rugby season.

Emery has featured 35 times for the Highlanders in Super Rugby and has two caps for the Maori All Blacks.

Meanwhile, the Sunwolves also confirmed the signing of Ryuchi Noguchi from Tokai University and Atsushi Sakate from the Panasonic Wild Knights, both of whom made their Japan bows in April 2016 against Korea in Kanagawa.

The Sunwolves begin their Super Rugby campaign with a home clash against the Brumbies on Saturday, February 24.
