Stormers v Bulls: From LA to Wellington

Cape Town - The Stormers say they are disappointed about missing out on facing the Bulls in Los Angeles but happy that the Boland Stadium in Wellington can be used as an alternative.

The pre-season clash between the old rivals will take place on Saturday, February 3.

The match was originally scheduled to be played in Los Angeles, but due to logistical issues will now be held locally.

“Whilst disappointed to miss an opportunity to grow both the game of rugby and the Stormers brand in the USA, the Stormers are looking forward to playing in front of their faithful supporters in Wellington, ahead of the opening game of the 2018 Super Rugby season which will see them take on the Jaguares at Newlands on February 17,” the Stormers said via a press statement on their official website.

The match in Wellington kicks off at 16:00, with more information regarding ticketing and details of the match to be confirmed in due course.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
