Stormers demolish SWD Eagles in Super Rugby warm-up

Cape Town - The Stormers got their 2018 Super Rugby pre-season warm-up matches off to a winning start when they blanked the SWD Eagles at Outeniqua Park on Saturday.

The Stormers won 77-0 after leading 35-0 at half-time.

The Stormers fielded a young match-day squad, but still had enough firepower to run 11 converted tries past the Eagles in front of their home crowd in George.

The Stormers take on the Bulls in their second warm-up match on Saturday, February 3 at Boland Park in Wellington before kicking off their Super Rugby campaign against the Jaguares at Newlands on Saturday, February 17 at 15:05.
