Cape Town - Springbok wing Cornal Hendricks' career is seemingly over due to a serious heart condition.
Hendricks, who has played 12 Tests in green and gold, was set to turn out for the Stormers in this year's Super Rugby competition after moving from the Cheetahs.
He was also called up to join the extended Blitzboks training squad for the HSBC World Sevens Series but has yet to play for either side.
Although not confirmed officially, Twitter was abuzz with news of Hendricks unfortunate predicament.
Had a few queries re Cornal Hendricks. He is not contracted to WP, and is sadly out the game for life due to a heart defect
