Sharks confirm Mapimpi signing

Cape Town - The Sharks have confirmed the signing of 27-year-old wing Makazole Mapimpi

The in-form wing has been performing superbly for the Cheetahs in the PRO14 this year, and before that he had a stellar season for the Kings in Super Rugby.

The franchise announced the signing on their Twitter page on Friday.

Mapimpi is expected to arrive in Durban ahead of the 2018 Super Rugby season after having played his way into the Springbok selection mix this year.

The Sharks also on Thursday confirmed the signing of Western Province flyhalf Robert du Preez.
