Rasta to ref Stormers v Cheetahs derby

Cape Town - Rasta Rasivhenge will referee Saturday’s South African Super Rugby derby between the Stormers and Cheetahs at Newlands (15:05 kick-off).

Super Rugby referee appointments: Round 6

Rasivhenge will be assisted by Quinton Immelman and Cwengile Jadezweni, with Shaun Veldsman the television match official (TMO).

Jaco van Heerden will referee the other South African derby between the Lions and Sharks at Ellis Park (17:15).

Van Heerden will be assisted by Jaco Peyper and AJ Jacobs, with Johan Greeff the TMO.

In the earlier game between the Chiefs and Bulls in Hamilton (08:35 SA time), New Zealand’s Nick Briant will be the referee.

Briant will be assisted by compatriots Paul Williams and Cam Stone, with another Kiwi, Ben Skeen, calling the shots from the TMO booth.
