Paige, Gqoboka back for Bulls

Cape Town - The Bulls will have scrumhalf Rudy Paige and prop Lizo Gqoboka back for their Super Rugby clash against the Reds in Pretoria on Saturday.

The duo missed last weekend’s 38-6 win over the Kings in Port Elizabeth due to injury niggles, but will be ready for action this weekend.

“Both of them healed nicely and they trained fully today,” Bulls team doctor Herman Rossouw said on Monday.

Rossouw said that three players - centre Jesse Kriel, scrumhalf Piet van Zyl and loose forward Lappies Labuschagne - sat out training with minor niggles on Monday.

The trio should however be fit to face the Reds this weekend.

Rossouw also confirmed that lock Grant Hattingh would be out for five weeks after undergoing groin surgery last Friday.

Other player on the long-term injury list include centre Burger Odendaal (quad, back mid-May), fullback Warrick Gelant (jaw, four weeks) and flyhalf Handre Pollard (knee, return date TBA).
