Nadolo injury boost for Lions

Cape Town - The Crusaders will travel to Johannesburg to play the Lions without Nemani Nadolo and Joe Moody as the two are still battling with injuries.

Fijian international Nadolo pulled a hamstring while Moody damaged nerves in his neck two weeks ago and still hasn't quite recovered.

The Christchurch franchise will have the experienced trio of Johnny McNicholl, Sam Whitelock and Andy Ellis coming back from injury, however.

The Crusaders play the Lions after losing 35-10 to the Hurricanes at home last weekend.

Earlier this year, the Crusaders were able to the pip the Lions at home in Johannesburg 43-37, so the visitors will have the psychological edge.
