Jaguares win a penalty at the breakdown and that''s it! The Cheetahs are stopped and the new franchise from Argentina secure a win in their first game in dramatic fashion.
CHEETAHS 33-34 JAGUARES
The desire to win is evident in the play of both teams. The crowds do all they can to cheer their boys, but there is very little room for error.
Blommetjies gives his all as he looks for space and drives the ball into the Jaguares territory. He is tackled and the ball is kicked out of play. The Jaguars quickly gain possession and pressure is put on the Cheetahs defense.
PENALTY, CHEETAHS, MARAIS! 33-34: Marais nails a penalty and the Cheetahs are now one point behind.
DROP GOAL, JAGUARES, SANCHEZ! 30-34: Smart strike from the fly-half helps to extend the lead.
De Jager makes a quick play, a knock on comes and Sanchez reads the play well and reverses the direction of the game.
CONVERSION, JAGUARES, SANCHEZ! 30-31: The conversion is made and the Jaguars now lead by 1 point. With just over 13 minutes to go, can the Jaguares hold onto this lead?
TRY, JAGUARES, LANDAJO! 30-29. The Jaguars played the ball beautifully and Landajo finishes off an amazing try, started by Boffelli made by the sensational run by Orlando.
The Jaguares win the ball and with 17 minutes to go they seem to be running on adrenalin.
There are front row changes for both teams as they enter another scrum near the Cheetah half. Venter emerges with the ball and makes a wonderful run down the field creating a scoring opportunity for the Cheetahs.
A penalty is awarded to the Jaguars and emotions seem to over flow as pushing and shoving breaks out on the field. The penalty is taken unsuccessfully.
The Cheetahs easily convert the free kick and are now back in the lead.
The scrum breaks down and Cheetahs continue to dominate. An advantage is given to the Cheetahs and they play it forward before being stopped by the Jaguars defense.
PENALTY, CHEETAHS, ZEILINGA! 27-24: A good ball is played by the Cheetahs, but the fringes are covered by the Jaguars defense. The momentum is put to an end by the referee noticing a foul by the Jaguares. A kick is awarded and Zelinga easily gets the three points.
The crowd goes wild as Petersen races down the field and plays an inside, outside ball but he does not make it past the Jaguares defence.
Sanchez who was the architect of the amazing try easily makes the conversion and evens the score.
TRY, JAGUARES, BAEZ! 24-22: Beautiful skill shown by Sanchez to find Senatore out wide, as he powers down the touchline from the chip and feeds Baez for the try.
The scrums are going well for the Cheetahs, Venter wins the ball and tries to find space. Sanchez quickly stops him and the ball is kicked out of play.
The teams leave the field. What an exciting first half, let's see if the Cheetahs can maintain their tough defense and forward play.
Just seven points separate the teams at half-time. Discipline is certainly playing an important role in the game so far with a penalty try already issued to the Cheetahs. Both teams are strong defensively, but neither team can come into the second half over confident.
CHEETAHS 24-17 JAGUARES
The teams emerge from the tunnel and the second half begins.
Sanchez easily makes the conversion after the powerful play by Creevy who is exciting the crowds.
TRY,JAGUARES, CREEVY! 24-15: That''s another one back for the visitors. The Cheetahs can''t stop the maul and captain Creevy goes over.
The conversion is taken successfully and the Jaguares now look set to dominate.
TRY! JAGUARES, LANDAJO! 24-8: Superb play by the Cheetahs who safely keep the ball out of danger, but the Jaguares manage to find space and score! And a historic one too, their first in Super Rugby, by Landajo.
Space is found and the Jaguars don't waste any time running the length of the field. Their work however does not pay off.
The kick given to the Cheetahs is missed.
TRY! CHEETAHS, SMALL-SMITH! 24-3: It''s carnage out there! Down on numbers the Cheetahs keep finding space and the ball goes wide to Small-Smith to finish in the corner.
Conversion is unsuccessful, but another opportunity to add three points is given due to a ruling of foul play by the Jaguar defense.

TRY! CHEETAHS, VAN JAARSVELD! 19-3: The hooker gets his try this time, fed by Zeilinga who loops round the back of the maul.
Jaguars are struggling to make ground. Line-out is won by Cheetahs and they easily change direction.
TRY, CHEETAHS, PENALTY TRY! 14-3: Penalty try to Cheetahs! Foul play punished as referee Stuart Berry runs under the posts.
There is a question of foul play by the Jaguars. Yellow card is given to Landajo and the Cheetahs are awarded a penalty try.
Jaguars power down the field only to lose the ball to Peterson who runs it up the field, but is tackled before he reaches the touch line.
The ball is over the Jaguar line, but the referee calls for the TMO
Scrum breaks down, but the Cheetahs manage to win the ball and kick it to safety.

Sanchez takes the kick and easily gets the points for the Jaguars.
The conversion is made and the Cheetahs now have a solid lead.
TRY, CHEETAHS, VENTER! 5-0: Interception score from the Cheetahs captain as he snatches up a loose pass from Sánchez and races away.
Conversion is not successful, but the Cheetahs continue to find holes in the defense.
Solid scrum, Cheetahs emerge victorious.
Venter makes a good run and finds a hole in the Cheetah defense, but the whistle is blown as Peterson goes down with an injury.
Cheetahs are proving to be strong defensively.
Sanchez takes the free kick, but it does not carry through the poles
There is almost an immediate shortened line-up, followed by a Jaguar knock on and a call of offside.
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of this Super Rugby clash between the Cheetahs and Jaguares in Bloemfontein.
Outside centre Francois Venter will skipper the Cheetahs while Springbok lock Lood de Jager is vice captain and former Sharks player Fred Zeilinga starts at fly-half. Venter is joined in midfield by William Small-Smith while Sean Venter starts at scrum-half. Clayton Blommetjies lines up at full-back with Sergeal Petersen and Raymond Rhule the starting wings.
The Jaguares will be led by Argentina's World cup skipper Creevy who is joined in the front row by Ramiro Herrera and Lucas Noguera while Tomás Lavanini and Guido Petti are the starting locks and Leonardo Senatore, Pablo Matera and Rodrigo Báez form the back row combination. Twelve of the players in the starting XV started in Argentina's Rugby World Cup pool match with Tonga, while 10 were in the run-on side in Los Pumas' semi-final loss to Australia.
It's a beautiful sunny and warm day in Bloemfontein and the home fans are looking very determined to support their heroes.
The teams walk out onto the field and await the sound of referee Stuart Berry's whistle.
There will be a minute of silence before the game.
