Lions fullback injured at Bok training camp

Cape Town - Lions fullback Andries Coetzee sustained a hamstring strain during the warm-up at Monday’s Springbok training camp in Stellenbosch.

He will be further managed by his franchise's medical team.

The Lions have a bye in Super Rugby this week, so Coetzee should be available for their next game against the Stormers at Newlands on April 15.

The first Springbok training gathering was held in Johannesburg while the next camp is pencilled in for May 20-22. That will be followed by the announcement of the Springbok squad for the three-Test against France towards the end of May.
