Lions duo to join Ackermann in England?

Cape Town - English club Gloucester are reportedly eager to sign two Springboks from the Lions.

According to the GloucestershireLive website, prop Ruan Dreyer and centre Rohan Janse van Rensburg could join their former coach Johan Ackermann at the English club.

Gloucester are in need of a top class tighthead prop after All Black John Afoa’s move to Bristol for the 2018/19 season was recently confirmed.

According to the Rugby Paper, Gloucester are favourites in the race to sign Janse van Rensburg.

The Sale Sharks reportedly also want to sign the burly midfielder, who recently finished a loan spell with them.

Dreyer, who boasts four Test caps, and Janse van Rensburg (1 cap) played prominent roles in the Lions reaching the Super Rugby final for the past two years.
