Lambie named on Sharks bench

Cape Town- Fit-again flyhalf Pat Lambie has been named on the Sharks bench for their Super Rugby clash against the Hurricanes in Durban on Saturday.

The Springbok pivot has been sidelined with a shoulder injury picked up in pre-season but has been cleared for this weekend’s match.

Garth April will start at flyhalf in what will be his third consecutive Super Rugby game in the Sharks No 10 jersey.

Also making a return is captain Beast Mtawarira, who was rested for last week’s game against the Chiefs.

Lambie’s return means that Joe Pietersen drops out of the match-day 23.

Saturday’s clash at Kings Park is scheduled for 15:00.
