Bulls name side for Lions warm-up clash

Pretoria - Bulls coach Nollis Marais named an extended squad of players to face the Lions in their first warm-up match of the season in Harare, Zimbabwe on Saturday.

New signings, Johnny Kotze (centre) and Rabs Maxwane (wing) will start the match, while Coenraad van Vuuren (prop) and Shaun Adendorff (flank) will be playing off the extended bench as Marais looks at give everyone a run in the opening warm-up run of the season.

Kotze joined from the Stormers, Maxwane is a former SA Rugby Sevens Academy graduate, Van Vuuren hails from the Free State Cheetahs and Adendorff from Boland.

The run-on team will be captained by Nic de Jager, but Hanro Liebenberg will take over the captaincy when he takes to the field.

The match starts at 13:00.
