Cape Town - Stormers fullback Cheslin Kolbe is being linked with a move to French giants Toulouse.
According to lerugbynistere.com, a French website that offers updates on transfer rumours and activity in the French Top 14, Toulouse are interested in enticing the speedster to make the move north.
Kolbe, 23, was a big player for the Stormers in Super Rugby this year and many thought that he had done enough to force his way into the Springbok set-up.
But national coach Allister Coetzee wasn't interested, and has instead utilised Willie le Roux, Johan Goosen and Pat Lambie in the No 15 jersey.
Kolbe was a member of the South African Sevens side that won a bronze medal at the Rio Olympics.
Western Province and Stormers rugby is not in a good place financially, with the Western Province Rugby Union having applied for liquidation just last month.
As a result, the union is expected to offload a number of players over the next year to try and recuperate some funds.
