Kerevi injury stuns Reds

Cape Town - Queensland Reds centre Samu Kerevi will undergo surgery after suffering a broken hand in his side's win over the Cheetahs on Saturday.

The injury occurred late in the game, in the process of setting up a try.

The 22-year-old will have surgery Tuesday and is expected to be sidelined for three to four weeks.

Kerevi therefore looks set to miss the Reds' next few games against the Crusaders, Hurricanes and Sunwolves ahead of their bye week in Round 14 before the international break.
