Cape Town - Stormers coach Robbie Fleck has challenged his side to build on their impressive 37-20 win against the Blues on Saturday.
It was a crucial result for the Capetonians, who had just returned from losing three straight matches on their Australasian tour.
While the performance on Saturday would have been just as pleasing as the result was for Fleck, he knows that his side needs to keep improving if they are to go deep in this tournament.
Next up for the Stormers is a clash against the Reds at Newlands on Saturday as the Australians come off a good win of their own in Buenos Aires against the Jaguares.
"The next challenge for us is to put in another performance like that next week," Fleck said after the Blues match.
"It is great to see that we can respond in this way, certainly the first half it was a good performance from us. We need to learn to play like that for 80 minutes now and every weekend.
"We can take a lot of confidence from this and we can build from this, it is pretty exciting if we do get it right consistently."
The Stormers are currently holding onto second spot in the South African Conference and are level on points with the Sharks, who are in third having played a game less.
Saturday's match against the Reds kicks off at 17:15.
