Etzebeth set to be unleashed on Bulls

Cape Town - Lock Eben Etzebeth is likely to make his return to action in the Stormers’ Super Rugby clash against the Bulls in Pretoria this weekend.

The Springbok enforcer has been sidelined since March with a calf injury but according to Netwerk24, he is likely to be drafted straight back into the Stormers starting XV.

His second row partner will be Pieter-Steph du Toit, who was one of the Stormers’ rare shining lights in last weekend’s 17-all draw against the Sunwolves in Singapore.

Apart from Etzebeth, loosehead prop Oli Kebble and wing Leolin Zas are also likely to return to the starting XV.

Kebble will replace JC Janse van Rensburg, who picked up what looks like a serious knee injury against the Sunwolves, while Zas may replace Johnny Kotze after serving a suspension.

Saturday’s clash at Loftus Versfeld is scheduled for 19:20.
