Dreyer injury blow for Lions

Cape Town - The Lions have suffered a blow with the news that prop Ruan Dreyer will need to undergo surgery after fracturing his right wrist.

Dreyer suffered the injury during the Lions 45-10 victory over the Southern Kings in Port Elizabeth over the weekend.

In a press statement released on Monday, the Lions confirmed that Dreyer will undergo an operation on Tuesday although no mention was made of how long the union expected him to be out of action for.
