Clermont sign Hurricanes' 'Tongan Bear'

Clermont-Ferrand - Tongan prop Loni Uhila will join Clermont from next season, with an option for a further two, the French Top 14 giants revealed on Monday.

The 27-year-old, nicknamed 'The Tongan Bear', currently plays for Super Rugby champions, the Hurricanes.

He becomes the Top 14 leaders' third recruit for next season after Scottish scrumhalf Greig Laidlaw from Gloucester and French wing Remy Grosso from Castres.
