Chiefs lose Weber for 6 months

Cape Town - The Chiefs have suffered a triple injury setback that includes scrumhalf Brad Weber being ruled out for six months with a fractured femur.

Weber, an excellent performer last season in Super Rugby, suffered the nasty injury to his thigh bone at the Brisbane 10s over the weekend.

Weber requires surgery while Mitchell Graham fractured his tibia and fibula and will also need surgery.

Graham is estimated to be out for a minimum of six months while Fin Hoeata suffered ligament damage to his ankle, with his estimated return being two to three months.
