Beaming Cheetahs head for Oz

Bloemfontein - Cheetahs coach coach Franco Smith has named a 27-man squad for their three-game Super Rugby tour to Australia. 

The Cheetahs bagged their second win of the season when they thumped the Sunwolves 92-17 in Bloemfontein on Friday night.

Centre Francois Venter will captain the squad, with Springbok lock Lood de Jager the vice-captain.

The Cheetahs will leave for their tour to Australia on Sunday, arriving in Melbourne on Monday. 

The team will be playing against the Rebels on April 22 (11:45 SA time), Reds on April 30 (11:45 SA time) and Waratahs on May 7 (11:45 SA time).
