Le Roux: Tackle Habana low!

Cape Town - Tackle Bryan Habana low around the ankles, otherwise it could be a long day at the office.

That is the advice Cheetahs wing Willie le Roux gave his team-mates ahead of their Super Rugby clash against the Stormers at Newlands on Saturday.

A week ago Le Roux helped Habana score his 49th Test try for the Springboks, but on Saturday the two are on opposite sides in the Super Rugby encounter.

Le Roux said Habana is someone he looks up to and he enjoyed playing alongside the wing, who now boasts 50 Test tries after last weekend's match against Samoa.

"His work ethic is very high and he tries to be everywhere on the field. He is also a good leader," Le Roux said on the Volksblad website.

"He had a bit of a rough time a few years ago, but came back strong. It shows how good he is."

Le Roux said he and his team-mates know what to do to stop Habana.

"At Super Rugby level you can't tackle guys high. Bryan is a good finisher. You have to keep a close eye on him," said Le Roux.

The clash at Newlands kicks off at 19:15.
