Cape Town - Sharks coach Jake White could consider picking Luke Watson in his squad for next year's Super Rugby competition.
White was infamously forced to include Watson in his Springbok squad in 2007 because of politics.
However, according to Watson, there is no more bad blood between the two.
He told the Keo.co.za website that he's had a telephonic conversation with White and there's a possibility of him representing the Sharks.
Watson, who is currently contracted to the EP Kings, has been out of action since undergoing an operation on a fractured foot in mid-year.
Watson should be back in training by mid-January, and he'll give the Sharks coach an injury update by then.
Watson said that while he is committed to the Kings, he has a desire to play Super Rugby, and White's phone call has given him extra motivation.
The Kings lost their Super Rugby status when the Lions defeated them in a two-legged promotion-relegation series earlier this year.
