Pretoria - No further sanction will be taken against Waratahs lock Pat O'Connor after he appeared at a SANZAR judicial hearing in Pretoria on Saturday.
O'Connor faced a mandatory hearing after receiving a red card for an alleged head butt during the Waratahs Super Rugby match against the Bulls at Loftus Versfeld on Friday evening.
After hearing evidence from the referee, the assistant referee and the player and considering video evidence of the incident, SANZAR Judicial Officer, Jannie Lubbe SC concluded that he was satisfied on the balance of probabilities that O'Connor did not head butt an opponent.
Lubbe ruled that there should be no further action taken against the player.
