Wallabies trio re-sign with ARU

Sydney - Wallabies forwards Liam Gill, James Slipper and Rob Simmons have re-signed with the Australian Rugby Union and their Reds Super Rugby side through 2015.

Prop James Slipper has earned 37 Test caps, lock Rob Simmons has played 26 internationals and flanker Liam Gill has made 10 appearances for Australia.

The trio joins Australia and Reds captain James Horwill, who last month also committed to the ARU through the 2015 Rugby World Cup in England.

Slipper said in a statement Tuesday "there's a Rugby World Cup in 2015 and as a player you want to be a part of that. I think the end-goal for any Australian rugby player is to become the best team in the world and I feel like we've got the players to do that."
