Cape Town - Junior Springboks assistant coach, Brendan Venter has been given permission to return to South Africa on Thursday.
Venter, a member of the Junior Springbok rugby team coaching staff at the IRB Junior World Championship in France, sought permission to return to Cape Town in order for him to deal with important personal matters relating to his recent appointment at the Sharks.
He will only miss two training days of the tournament, which conclude on Sunday with the final between Wales and England in Vannes.
The Junior Springboks will play New Zealand in the earlier playoff match for third place.
Venter was appointed as the Sharks' new director of rugby earlier this month after incoming CEO, John Smit announced he will take over from John Plumtree in August after Plumtree's contract with the Durban-based franchise was not renewed.
