good decision to start Wikus, and good team.

Looking forward to see how Wikus goes at 4, be good to have the experience on the field. Haven't been impressed by Buys in the last 2 games, seems to give away crucial panalities at the wrong stages of the game. Would have started Kockett to be honest and given him the kicking duty. Blues would of targetted this game for 4 points so it will be tough.

...Elton Jantjies = average quota player.....

I think all the Lion-haters should back off of Elton and the rest of us. Firstly, we've never done anything to any of the Blue Bull or Stormer supporters to deserve the belittling you half wits post on here... I remember when seats were being given away at Loftus because they were that crap, not all that many years ago! I also don't remember Province winning ANYTHING in the last decade worth mentioning? Secondly Elton is a very young fly halve. Lions are forever 'building' etc etc etc, I know! But some of you seem to be forgetting that we were bottom of the log last year, and our first two matches so far were against the number one and number two finishers of the same competition. We out scored the Bulls 3 tries to two. We also only lost to the self proclaimed 'mighty but don't have any trophies' Province by a slim 3 points... Elton created the attacking platform and we scored equal tries with him missing 7 points with the boot - not through a lack of talent, but the presence of immense pressure. He's a young player finding his feet in the toughest rugby competition in the world, so far against the toughest competitor... and the Stormers. He'll get there. Give credit where credit is due. If the Lions finish top half of this competition under a one year old management team then we would have gained a lot of ground on the three top SA teams. A qoute for the Bulls: "Stay humble in victory" - Bakkies Botha Stormers: f@(k off and die!

Feit. Niemand kraak die Lions doelbewus af nie. We only state the obvious - two wrong players in key positions and no BGT.
